After the critique, write a 1-paragraph reflection on your blog addressing your experience of this critique, and what you may have learned about your work. Did your peers respond in the way you thought they would? Did they see what you did in your work?
When I went first for our class critique I was obviously nervous. I didn't know what to expect people to think of mine. Luckily I got positive feedback and compliments. I wanted my collage to have a traditional style of a collage. I didn't want a sloppy collage but instead a collage that had the traditional feel of taking pieces of different patterns and arranging them in a specific order to create my sunset. I got a lot of complements on how I only used scanned images of my clothing and post cards. Although a majority of my images had patterns on them, one section of my collage was very plain (the very left sun ray// gay pride flag). I feel as if I could either have put another scanned image with more pattern on it or I could have created another layer and put a cloud on top of it. I feel as if I accomplished making a traditional styled collage.
