Gif Process Notes

During this process I struggled to brainstorm ideas about what I wanted my gif to be about. I knew that I wanted this project to be related to something that I do everyday so I'm basing it off of swimming. I am currently in the process of animating stickers that I have been collecting. As of now I have six stickers available for me to scan and animate. All of these stickers are really vibrant cartoon animals. They are really fun and cute and that's what I like about them. These stickers are from my favorite swim suit company called Jolyn. I really want to send this gif to the Jolyn company once I am finished.

My fist animal that I put the animation effect on was my unicorn. I made his front and back feet dance and his tail wiggle. Its complicated to keep my layers and frames in the correct order but I'm finding it easier to keep them organized the more I do it. I know this process is going to take some time to complete so I'm going to have to keep my animations organized.

The next step I'm going to take is filming myself swimming. At the end my goal is to have all the animated animals cheering for me while I swim. Over the weekend my team had our first meet and i got someone to film me swimming but they didn't listen to my directions and hold it still. This week I'm going to build a tripod and put it in deck while i swim. I need to make sure that there is an edge of the pool deck for my animated stickers to cheer me on.

The only thing I think I'm going to need help with in class is formatting the video clip of me swimming into a constant loop.
